Throughout her professional life, Jenny has demonstrated an unwavering passion for nurturing children's growth and learning. Her zeal for helping students achieve educational progress stems from her own daughter's IEP (Individualized Education Plan) journey. Jenny personally experienced the challenges of navigating the public school system and seeking private placement to meet her daughter's unique needs, a journey that required the support of an advocate and legal assistance. This firsthand experience instilled in Jenny a deep understanding of the complexities involved in the process and the importance of effective support systems for families.

Katie is a dedicated advocate who understands both the classroom side and the family side of special education. She has worked across grade levels and disability areas, giving her a broad perspective on what students need and what schools can put in place to support access and learning.

As a newer Colorado resident, Katie has already been active in advocacy through district and state unions. She brings that same commitment into every meeting, helping teams communicate clearly, reduce conflict, and build IEPs that support growth, independence, and meaningful progress.

Geraldine brings both professional support and personal understanding to the work LDW does. As a parent to her son, she knows how overwhelming the IEP process can feel when you are trying to make the right decisions, track services, and communicate with a full team. That perspective helps her approach each task with care, urgency, and respect for what families are carrying.

In her role at LDW, Geraldine focuses on the details that keep everything moving forward. She supports internal coordination, organizes workflows and communication, and helps the team stay on track so families receive consistent follow through. She believes every student deserves support that is clear, practical, and built around real life needs at home and at school.
