Become an IEP Super Hero
Location: The Lowry Conference Center
1061 Akron Way, Denver, CO 80230
We all want to be super heroes in the eyes of our children. As a parent of a child with Learning Differences, you have to be an interpreter, therapist, case manager, AND an IEP expert. If you have a child on an Individualized Education Program (IEP), it's important to understand what this means and how you can be a super hero for your child during this process. Roxanne Bradley, special education advocate, has designed this workshop to help you do just that.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will:
- Have a working knowledge of the terminology used in the IEP document.
- Know if an IEP meets the legal requirements.
- Know if an IPE meets the needs of the student.
- Be able to address concerns and negotiate with the IEP team.
Join us to become an IEP super hero!
